Paul Shafer

Paul Shafer, PhD is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Law, Policy, and Management at Boston University School of Public Health and co-director of the Boston University Medicaid Policy Lab. He is also a fellow with the Boston University Institute for Health System Innovation and Policy and affiliate faculty of the Boston University Center for Antiracist Research. His research focuses on the effects of state and federal health insurance policy on coverage, health care use, and health equity.
