Thomas C. Tsai is an assistant professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School, assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH), and director of Clinical Care Redesign at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He also co-directs the Healthcare Quality and Outcomes Lab at HSPH, a research laboratory focused on health care quality and equity, health policy evaluation, and health system resilience. From 2022-2023, he served as senior policy advisor for the COVID-19 Response and the testing and treatment coordinator on the White House COVID-19 Response Team in the Biden Administration.
