Dr. Tao Hu is a postdoc research fellow at the Center for Geographic Analysis at Harvard University. He is a geospatial specialist. He has been working on Covid-19-related research topics since the beginning of the pandemic. He focuses on applying geospatial big data to investigate the impact on human mobilities and activities during the pandemic. Besides publications, he took the lead to collect various Covid-19-related data sources and share the datasets on Harvard Dataverse for public access. Global researchers from over 150 countries have accessed and downloaded datasets more than 400,000 times as of March 2, 2021.
