Cati Coe is a professor of anthropology at Rutgers University, and has written extensively on West African migration. Her most recent book is entitled The New American Servitude: Political Belonging among African Immigrant Home Care Workers (New York University Press, 2019), and she has another book forthcoming on Changes in Care: Aging, Migration, and Social Class in West Africa (Rutgers University Press, 2021).
